Well, somehow I managed to set things as I had before. I did not exactly know what caused my problems but both the spacing and that navigating when using those arrow keys are working now. God do I regret having updated Inskape without any second thoughts :( Next time I will be very VERY cautious......

I DID NOT CHANGE ANYTHING and AFTER that version update ALL my
schematic diagrams, when I want to change text, show this stupid space.
And I do not have the foggiest idea how to correct this!!
