This problem cropped up for me again. I run a lot of command line batch jobs and usually after 100-200 inkscape invocations it will no longer open normally. Like the previous poster stated deleted the inkscape preferences will get it running again. I just deleted: C:\Users\<useraccount>\AppData\Roam...
