Unfortunately there are things in maths that are a bit abstract and not as figuratively explainable but wherever possible I use "colorful" examples to show them how to deal with these things and -where possible- the relevance for their everyday life. Not always very creative but I'm workin...

Hey, sorry for the late reply. You guessed correctly. I made this for my nephew and NE are his initials. Usually I place my own initials somewhere in the image, as print on shirts or little labels like in this case. LGM... ehhm, I'm afraid it's highly unlikely that I'll be there. It's during school ...
