Definitely better than what i can do.
I won't say it is the best i've seen ..but what is important is :
Clear, Usable, Professional.

This layout looks great!
On a side note: i do hope gimp developers can make gimp skinnable. Then we can have a full community of skinners and able to change the theme everynow and then so it doesn't look boring.

Good idea ! In gimp there will not be any nodes thus almost no lag. However i see 1 problem using gimp... As you know i use my mouse to draw, inkscape calligraphy pen has the ability to smoothen my lines...not talking about anti aliasing here but you'll see what i mean. http://i44.tinypic.com/21dgbx...

Ok so i have lots of objects in a layer and i duplicated the object but i accidently clicked off and now i can't select it anymore...because when ever i click, i select somthing in front which is not what i want.

Inkscape lagging with many nodes from interpolation
I did a text effect with 50x interpolate and afterwards it became laggy. Anyway from what i read, it is because of the number of nodes which makes it laggy and is there anyway to work around it? I've seen suggestions of turning off that interpolate effect layer but hell why would i want to do that a...
