Re: Saving as pdf with smooth nodes and stroke width 0.01mm
Thank you for your reply, Well, we can't change the machine setting. The weird thing is that when I have cusp nodes, I can save it with 0.01mm with no problem, But when I have smooth nodes, here the problem happens. Another observation that this happens on my laptop. In the Fab Lab where I go we did...

I need to have the stroke style width 0.01mm to be able to cut it with laser or vinyl cutter. When I open the pdf file it's empty and when I open it again with inkscape I find nothing. ...

Re: Saving with Big Blue Saw DXF output
I found the answer here http://www.shapeoko.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=5506 Essentially, the line in "inch_dxf_outlines.py" in the extensions folder, h = inkex.unittouu(self.document.getroot().xpath('@height',namespaces=inkex.NSS)[0]) should read h = self.unittouu(self.document.getr...

Re: How to make the nodes always visible ?
Thanks You can set markers to display nodes all the time. How do I do this ? When I set object to marker the object disappear. it can get challenging how to implement compass and ruler constructions with inkscape. Can you show the image you want to draw in the end? It seems so. I am following a tuto...

Re: How to make the nodes always visible ?
Thank your for your quick reply. You have to have the object selected and the node tool engaged, to be able to see the nodes. yes, but now when I select the bezier curve tool, the node tool becomes deselected so the nodes disspear. Can't I have the nodes visible while using the bezier curve ? It sou...

How to make the nodes always visible ?
Hi,
I am new to inkscape.
When I select the edit path by nodes, the nodes are visible and when I deselect it the nodes disappear. Is there a way to keep the nodes always visible (like the attached image). It's easier when snapping to see what I am snapping to.
Thank you.
