I have "Save and restore the window geometry for each document" ticked but I don't see a "Save and restore dialog status" choice. I use Inkscape v.47. I only see Dialog: Behavior, On top and Transparency choices. Interface and Windows are separate items in the list.

Is there some way to either automate or save an inkscape drawing file so that when opening the file the layer list is open and is shown fully?
