there doesn't seem to be any support nor can I figure out how built this plotter it says artsign and also cutting machine

I have a artsign plotter its a large 60'' machine I have been attempting to make lettering for my mobile auto repair vans . the main problem I think I am having is that the plotter doesn't show up as anything when I plug it in , I have to open the add printer on ubuntu and set as a generic raw , but...
