There may be better ways to do this - could also tweak the ribbon around the fold - or make it wrap different ways......

Was reading through the newsgroup postings and there was an interesting thread about placing text over an arc while only curving one side. You can use Shift+Alt+Click to select multiple objects

Was it not converting to a path....took me a while to figure that out when I first used it....I should read the manual hehehe

Just tried it and it worked as expected for me - you did convert the text to a path first? Select both paths, the text first ....only things I can think of where it might have went wrong...

tbh if I had the original shape and wanted to change it that's the way I would probably do it - also makes tweaking easier - if you cut out using difference you would probably end up moving points anyway.....

Edit nevermind. Palette names cannot have hyphen in the name I guess. Because once i changed that it showed up fine.
