envelope deformation
Sometimes when using the envelope deformation tool on text it causes the letters to become distorted. This seems to only happen with certain fonts. Is there anything I can do about this?

I have a design which the background has been cut out and saved as transparent in a PNG file. What would be the best way to turn this into an SVG and retain it's transparency?
