Re: Star trek Imagery

How come the Upload Attachment tab button appears in some places & doesn't appear in others? I'd like to post more Star trek Images I recently completed. I hope you like them. I hope I'm allowed to post them here because this is the only spot where the Upload Attachment tab button appears.

Re: Star trek Imagery

I bought the Book Of Inkscape by Dmitry Kirsanov & I'm only on page 6. You're probably saying, "shame on me" I should be reading that book but I've been wanting to gratify my creative urges yet, I'm missing out on all of Inkscape's settings & controls. I'll have you know that I pur...

Star trek Imagery

Here's a recent project I completed using Inkscape. If anyone knows How I can grab my original trace line, for some reason it's locked or it cannot be selected. Why does this happen? I tried to unlock it but with no good results I'm stuck. Take a look at the space picture with Voyager, for some odd ...

Using Inkscape - Creating A Starry Space Scene

Can I ask assistance (step by step) for creating a starry space scene? I used the "create rectangles & square tool & pulled an area large enough to become my canvas. Next, I used black as a fill-in. I added some larger planets which look great but I would love to learn how to create a s...

Re: Your first Inkscape drawing

I love How the planets glow and appear as If they're illuminating. God willing, I'll be working on more space scenes as time moves forward. I hope you like this one. It's my first space scene using Inkscape. Inkscaping http://www.openclipart.org/image/800px/svg_to_png/space_scene.png

Re: "X" Marks The Spot

I did choose to import an image from my computer. That's how I always do it. I used the embed feature as you mentioned but from time to time, I get the big red "X". Go figure. lol!

"X" Marks The Spot

From time to time, without my knowing a red outlined box appears with a redline going from top left corner to bottom right corner & another separate red line going from the top right corner to bottom left corner forming a red outline box with an "X" in the center. What is this? What do...
