I finally got it. I took 600 dpi for the exported png file and it worked out just fine. Thanks a lot to everybody!

I'd just re-trace the image, keeping the text where it is. I tried tracing using two brightness steps, and that results in filled paths which can be filled with color. Thank you, that helped.
