Hi, I would like to change the Inkscape GUI language. I am using version 0.48 on Windows XP Home. The wiki suggests that for release 0.47 this should be possible simply via: Inkscape Preferences -> Interface -> Language (Requires Restart). Changing the language here had no effect.
