Re: Pressure sensitivity with Genius Pad?

I'm really frustrated with inkscape. Is there any way I can get the pressure sensitivity to work? It's not the pen or the driver, but for some reason the sensitivity only works with MyPaint, not GIMP or Inkscape. Is there anything I can do, or is it "just incompatible"? I should probably a...

Re: Pressure sensitivity with Genius Pad?

All the topics you listed confused me further. I'm sorry, I'm a bit Inkscape-illiterate, and to read dev topics is like eating a bowl of latin 305 for breakfast. Re: Simulate pressure-sensitivity?

No, the tablet isn't pressure-sensitive. It has only one degree of sensitivity: on/off.

What I'm talking about it a varying line width as if I was using a quill pen in real life, like this example:

Simulate pressure-sensitivity?

I'm sorry if this is common knowledge, but I'm thinking of getting a tablet PC with a capacitative touch screen, so I'll have to use a special stylus, not the standard pressure-sensitive magnetic kind I'm used to. Is there a way for inkscape to simulate pressure-sensitivity, such as varying brush st...
