OK, this is what I figured out so far, but not the ideal solution. I can copy and paste from Open Office but no matter what keyboard layout I use, in OO I have to use the opt/shift keys. I also have NeoOffice because it looks and preforms better then OO on a mac, but I can not cut and paste from Neo...

Opps, the above was done in Dorvak layout, with the English layout on a mac it is opt/shift and I get ` ⁄ € ‹ › fi fl ‡ ° · ‚ — ± with the numbers keys. Not do totally confuse anyone. Anyways it still does not type in Inscape.

OK, on my Mac the 'Sht/Ctrl 8' produces the Degree sign, and I just found out it opens the history side bar in opera. BHAAAA. Any way this is what I get using the numbers with Shift/Ctrl ` ⁄ € ‹ › fi fl ‡ ° · ‚ ” ’. I obviously can not do that with Inscape shortcuts. How do I get these alternative le...
