if you have a known image that is bad and its one or two colors-

enlarge the image 3xs its size 10x10 change to 30x30 you will loose no detail if you enlarge it first

export as a png

bring it back into inscape

revector it

resize it

and if you still have problems it is not the file

i hope i understood you correctly your using inkscape and you have an image that you would like to save as a *.plt file? when it saves your getting 0 bytes and there is no data? first is the image a vector ? if it is a raster you will not get any thing in the *.plt because there is nothing to plot. ...

if you looking to have one color larger than another and layer them centered on top of one another - highlight the letters you want to cut - then copy and past them to another area on the page (now you should havde 2 copies of what you want to layer ) then highlight the first one -- then i believe h...

just thinking - no that isnt true all the way - if you do a shade from yellow to green there is no lines so there is no nodes -

there is no way to do that automated that i am aware of

i dont get it - no i dont use Versaworks but the line color has to be called CutContour not black yellow and so on.

so if you make an eps file in AI or CORAL you have to rename the color also? i havent ever heard of that before.

i cant see the image right now - i dont have svg viewer where i am at. but what we have done before is make the image 4xs the size you need - then export it as a png - then bring it back into inkscape a then revector it - it will cut correct -however if there is alot of colors that bay not be the be...

sign cut is very basic cheap software - soem get it to work good and most people think it garbage. it was made a long time ago and the person that made it passed and now there is no support for that program. i would look into getting something else that will work the way you need it to. i used it fo...

tux plot will prob not work for you. it is a china made cutter. I have done extensive test with it and I was unable to find drivers for any china made cutters. not saying that I cant or will not work but tux plot works great for Graphtec, Rolland's and engravers what happens when you tried inkcut ? ...
