Decrease line spacing between paragraphs
Dear Inkscape community, I created a text box. The box has several paragraphs with a blank line between the paragraphs. I'm trying to decrease the space between paragraphs, while retaining the current line spacing within paragraphs. I tried selecting the line in between paragraphs, but when I try to...

On installing the Google Drive desktop app
Thanks, Simarillus, for your reply. Sadly, the GDrive desktop app is not available on Linux. Also, your proposed solution means that a person would still need access to a hard drive. With Google Docs, I can create new documents/spreadsheets/presentations all on the cloud, from start to finish. With ...

Vector file created in Win7 Inkscape is incomplete in Linux
Dear Inkscape community, I created a file using Inkscape 0.48 (Inkscape 0.48.2 r9819) in Windows 7. When I reopen in Inkscape 0.48 Win7, there is no problem. But when I open in Linux Inkscape 0.48.3.1 r9886, a part of the image is missing. In Windows 7 Inkscape, the top part of the red leaf has C&am...

Would love to see Inkscape as a Google Drive app
Hello, I'm a huge Inkscape fan and user. I would to see Inkscape as an app that works with cloud-based Google Drive (https://chrome.google.com/webstore/category/collection/drive_apps). I suppose for this to happen, 2 things need to happen: 1. There must be an online version of Inkscape 2. There must...

pls help a fellow Inkscaper win a contest just by commenting
Hello, guys. I'm down to the final leg of an amateur mixed-media art contest. I've used Inkscape for my entry. The rules have it that the one with the most comments wins and I'm currently in second place, and just a tad behind the first-placer. If you have some time, could you pls leave even a short...

Re: Don't know how to proceed with next steps in Tiling Tutorial
Thanks for the reply.
I was used to the guides from the previous pages, where the author did not miss any substeps. But in Step 5C, there are a lot of unstated sub-steps. I'll create an oval object as my target object and see if I can continue the tutorial.

Make sure Use saved size and position of the tile box is checked. The tiling will then use the saved dimensions of the base t...

Sorry to hear that the human spammers are wasting time, our time and theirs. Wish we could somehow have a global database where spammers on any site are permamently blocked from spamming, and, for a recurring offense, a ban from the internet.
