I figured out why sometimes the ime window won't show up. if you make a bounding box with teh text tool, no ime, if you just click on a point and start typing, it works. strange. should I file this on launchpad?

I have used inkscape for a number of years and am amazed at its ease of use and variety of applications. I do however have one problem. I am using ubuntu 12.10 and the Anthy IME through Ibus. when trying to enter japanese text, sometimes I get an IME window, most of the time I do not. this is a prob...
