Thanks for the reply, yes i downloaded it,what is an environment path variable? I didn't or dont get a error log when it was installed i get a message when I try to open AI files it states " failed to load requested file C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\My Documents\Sandblasting Projects...

I tried the view topic post that was suggested and it did not help! Could not find the listed info on what may have been missed during install. So I uninstalled program and reinstalled, no change cant open AI files. I had a 30 day free trail of Adobe that has expired, Ii wonder if this is keeping me...

Im sorry so late getting back to this post;
still cant open AI files, tried all different adobe lines and still no good get message Failed to load the requested file

what do i have to do. because they look for Adobe program to open it and I dont have adobe.

Trying to print with inkscape
When i want to print something from inkscape my printer say I'm not using a regular sized piece of paper and it wants me to load paper in the rear tray. If i print something from any other program on my PC it takes paper from front tray (normal place for paper to come from). What have I done? With m...

Thank You everybody. I didn't know that I could get practice in the help menu. Sand carving is taking a piece of glass, ceramic tile, wood etc. and sandblasting a picture, words or what ever on to the surface. I would like my board to measure in inch's I go to Properties change the setting to "in" and proceed.
Next new project I have to change it back to "in"
Any way to make it stay in inch's?
