Dont mean to butt in here ...but...
I dont think one can actually use a wacom with inkscape unless you enjoy it.
If you can really draw with a wacom, Id love to know.

Inkscape really needs this feature.... I dont really know why and even till now there is no gpu support for inkscape, considering how radically powerful it is. OpenCL can easily be implemented if the will exists....HSA can wait....considering how useless Intel will become if HSA takes off....not rea...

New to forum but not inkscape.

Hello, I am pam and have being using inkscape for quite some time... and I am more than impressed with what Im able to do with it. I use gimp/Inkscape nearly everyday along with blender at times.... I have never done anything on windows...I have not seen photoshop or illustrator or any of those high...

I have built a couple of websites with gimp splicing....absolutely flawlessly. Considering the fact that future is all HTML5 and GPU based javascript(HSA) and embedded videos splicing has become less and less necessary. Its adaptable to use CSS3 and mod that. Most high end sites/secure ones etc dont...
