crashing when trying to open document properties
inkscape 0.47 crashes when i try to open document properties. it doesn't freeze, it just closes. i've uninstalled/reinstalled with no luck. using vista.
i've been reading the bug report but it doesn't seem to fix the problem.

i use to open the .eps file in gimp and turn it into a .png. then trace in inkscape.

so is there a setting like this for normal objects? when i simple rotate a rectangle in 0.47 it gets choppy at the edges. i expect some but this is lots more than with 0.46

Quality of on-screen blur rendering can be set in the Filter section of Inkscape Preferences. Lower settings are are often preferable: they look bad, but they render faster (and bitmap export is not affected). this is a good answer. thank you for that. i reinstalled 0.47. the settings were at "...

so, heathenx seems to be having the same problem in this tut (near the end). he's moving the + into place in different directions and seems to get it when coming from the outside, then into place. watch the tut and you'll see what i mean. you may have to try placing the + from different directions. ...
