The size of the pictures may indeed be a problem. Although kind of the same problem appeared in a file where I did not use any pictures but only paths and patterns created out of paths ... As there are no blurring-, filtering-, gradient- or other effects at least this doesn't seem to be the problem ...

I´ve tried some combinations with or without * but nothing seems to work. With a flash drive it could work as long as both systems give the same drive letter. On the other hand I noticed that when working on a flash drive everything seems to be slower. A single click on 'save' can lead to something ...
