I found a solution I think! On the silhouette end - instead of trying to "ungroup", you "modify" your image and click on "release" - the image is then broken into its parts . whew

Yes - you are correct - I'd like to be able to move parts of the image independently. I just tried saving as a dxf and checked off "use robomaster type output" and it ungroups some items but not all - very strange!

Keeping my images ungrouped when opening in other software
Hi! I am creating my images in inkscape by importing png files and combining them together. I can make the images ungrouped in inkscape, but after saving as svg or dxf, they open in my silhouette cutting program grouped and i can't change this at all. does anyone know what may be happening or what i...
