I am trying to do text on path and for some reason my text instead of being applied to the top it goes to the corner. What am I missing? I tried to turn the text but everything turned with it so not sure how you determine where the text begins on the path.

I have a color chart that I created and would like to use these colors to change the font color in inkscape. Is there a way for me to open the color chart in inkscape and select the color I would like for the font to be?

I have been using Inkscape for a while and done many traces of images but I want to trace my grandmothers handwriting and wondering what the trace features mean to get a more clean result.
