I did some quick studying on Unions. I found out once you perform a union on two objects, they have the same color. Hi! You need to add together the two paths -the original and the mirrored one- by pressing Ctrl++ when both selected. Resulting in one symmetric path, without double nodes/segments. Otherwise it is more of a rendering problem, as with right exporting settings that seam won't show up in a png. First...
