corruption when copy-pasting math text

ok so Ive converted some equations from latex into various svg files using pdf2svg. I can load each of svg files into inkscape no problem ... but if I try to copy-paste the equations between inkscape instances, the text gets corrupted. Not beyond recognition however, there is some logic to the corru...

Thought I'd check back after a few weeks .... zero comments. How depressing. And my problem continues. Looks as if I'm going to have to into the details and sort it out myself, seems a waste when all I want is one diagram. Oh well, off I go. It's probably not hard .. I just have to look in the right...

the tex text extension *seems* to be the one people use to get latex into their inkscape projects. I was unsuccessful installing it, any clues towards getting it working appreciated.
