Is it possible to make a selection from a path?
I have a grid of black squares and would like to place a white circle object on top, but instead of a smooth circle, I'd like the squares it touches to be deleted so that the edge appears jagged or pixellated.

Logo Inspiration
Hi, I'm wondering if anyone can suggest any tips or tricks for turning an interesting object into a two-colour logo. Essentially, the object is an old navigation beacon, and so far I have just traced it using the ellipse tool. I am now at a loss as to how to draw the "cross beams"! Beacon....

Superb - thank you! I will need to have junctions of different roads (and hence different widths and colours), but I'm sure I can work that out. Will post the fruits of my labour for others after I've had a play!
