I have successfully opened an .ai file by right clicking the .ai file - Properties - Open with - Inkscape. Depending on the Illustrator version this might work.
I have downloaded the free Euro Technic Bold font here http://www.fontpalace.com/font-download ... hnic+Bold/ but I don't know if that is the right one. Maybe you'll provide us the source for the download of this font? Windows 8.1
I have installed it to Windows/Fonts and it shows up in Inkscape.
I have tried to create something with the measures in cm's that were mentioned above and it pixelated both in Open Office and in the PDF reader. Ok, from the right click drop down menu I could open the font in a new window and get access to the location information "...common files\adobe\fonts.."
Could that be the reason why it doesn't show up in Inkscape and is there a way to solve this?
Thank you, Tylerdurden When I install a font I save the zip-folder on my desktop, extract the font from there and install to Windows/Fonts. Trajan Pro works in Open Office, Adope Photoshop and Notepad, but not in Inkscape. I'm running Windows 8.1 I'll try to find what you are talking about: File>Pro...
Hi, Tylderdurden - The font doesn't have the properties option when I right click on it on it's location in Windows/Fonts. I tried to copy it to the desktop and by doing so I have the properties option but they are much simpler than what you show above. I'll take a look at it again.
