Re: Some SVG Files Invalid?
Wow, interesting. Clearly I still have a long way to go and a lot to learn - I didn't intentionally soften any lines - I just did a trace bitmap on a png I made and it comes out blurry. I have no idea how many 'shades' were used or any of that. I guess I'm kind of a hack, artistically. I've scanned ...

Re: Some SVG Files Invalid?
Those were extremely helpful and I feel like an idiot to some extent. By NOT merging my lines layer and colors layer before saving a PNG to load into Inkscape and doing trace bitmap, I get a MUCH crisper lined and colored image. I still can't upload it to OCAL for some reason but here is my wrestler...

Re: SVG Viewer Extension for Windows Explorer
Well, Renesis is a ton better than I had before this - which was absolutely nothing. Sure, Irfanview and Xnview do have the capability for addons to allow you to view SVG thumbs within them, but for viewing SVG thumbs natively in XP, this is the ONLY file I've found that has worked.

Some SVG Files Invalid?
Hello everyone. I like to toy around with Inkscape and have been teaching myself Inkscape for a few years essentially, and still have a lot to learn. At the moment I have a problem with a few files I've created. Most I think are ones that include color. My usual method is to trace bitmap in Inkscape...

Re: SVG Viewer Extension for Windows Explorer
I can't get the above extension to register - BUT - I did find the Renesis Player, which actually works the same way, and allows Windows XP to show you thumbnails of SVG files. Awesome!

Re: Problem with "Fuzzy" Color Vector Images
I had not seen these, thank you. This is not exactly what I am having trouble with specifically, but can help for looking at coloring my b&w vectors in Inkscape, so thank you for that!

Problem with "Fuzzy" Color Vector Images
Hello, I'm new and have been using GIMP and Inkscape to create vector clipart for various purposes, and uploading most to the OpenClipArtLibrary, most of it black and white. I've colored a few in GIMP and vectorized them with GIMP and they've done well, but others seem to "fuzz" really bad...
