Request: have checkboard background set as default one for transparent background
I've read that it's possible to set to view transparent background as checkboard, but only for the specific file: http://www.inkscapeforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=12573 I'd like to request that it will be by default, or at least be remember to be as such for the next time you open an SVG file.
