If you did File > Clean up document, it would be entirely empty (78500 definitions - i.e. gradients, filters, patterns - would be removed).

I don't know, it's hard to tell without seeing the actual file. It appears there is still a lot of data there, but it could also be garbage. Autosave is available via Edit > Preferences > Input/Output > Autosave . thank you for answering me, Do i have to do the autosave everytime i start a new file...

I have an svg file that i worked on and saved. Upon opening yesterday the file is blank, but says its 37.8 MB. Have I completely lost my design? I don't know how to find autosave on my macbook and i didn't have time machine on. Help.
