Ok, this may help. The error I am getting at the bottom of the page says:
"Area is not bounded, cannot fill."
I have no idea why this would be, or what I need todo to change it, because the lines are complete and connected, so not sure why I would get this error.

Have you tried going into outline (wireframe) view in Inkscape (View -> Display Mode). This should give you some idea of what paths Inkscape has managed to import. Help! dxf fill in color
Ok, I am so lost. I open a dxf file and nothing shows up. I can "select" and see a very rough looking dashed line sketch, but terible. All iwant to do, is bring in a pdf or dxf and fill in the color rather than just the outline. Is this so hard?
