How to layer objects over eachother?
Hi i'm currently trying to have objects layered over a tessellation. However, because plotters and cutters cannot see fills all of my paths cross over each other. An example can be found in the attachment. How can I make inkscape remove the lines underneath the black object? I tried all path options...

Re: Turn shapes into single lines?
I did some digging last night and I found that potrace is just not fit for the job. It's something with the algorithms it uses so that's a no go. But because a single line of a sketch gets converted into 2 lines the machine will go over that area twice. I have some programmi...

Trace a line sketch without having 2 paths for line
Hello, I'm a designer currently using Inkscape as a tool to prepare sketches for a CNC router. To do this, I'm working with the G-code extension from the guys of cnc-club.ru However, every time I'm trying to trace a sketch, potrace defines 2 paths instead, each one at the edge of the line that was d...
