Fill Circles

How can I make a few circles within each other, different sizes, and have a different fill in each circle? So the fill for one only fills up to the next circle, and so on? Working with transparency isn't the answer... just want the fill to be different in each circle. Possible?

So I have created many curved text boxes by placing the text onto curves, and choosing Text... Put on Path...
