To design a website using Inkscape, I have added a 960px grid.

But, the first thing I have noticed is that the 14px font seems to big respect to the 960px grid. I expected a smaller font. So.. why does it happen?

hi, I have installed this plugin to get a 960 grid system. As you can know maybe, after installing the plugin you can choose File > New > 960 grid 12 col OR 960 grid 16 col. After choosing one, do you think I can switch to the other without creating a new document? Inkscape 0.48 Regards Javi

I'm following this tutorial to make a kind of rubber stamp, but when I try to make the union of the paths, the paths inside of the outter one dissapear..

I think maybe the tutorial was made using a prevoius version of IS. Im on 0.48.

What do you guess to make that kind of rubber stamp?

I have just found that if I click in the font select and then press the down cursor, the font of the selected text changes, but I have to click inside the select to after pressing the down cursor...So it is very tedious...

The fill color indicator is divided in two parts: the left one is transparent (there are small squares) and the right one has a color.
