have you tried with the text in two lines with chess like colors...
I hope the attached file helps you... (i do not know how will be the font's look like in your pc... but the idea will be keeped...

exporting gradient
I had use inkscape for a time... but, of course, still there are a lot of things a do not know how to use and do... right now i had try to make a wallpaper for Puppy Linux (my favorite distro)... i made a gradient background... but when i export it to png the gradient disapears... does someone know ...

Text in perspective... how to?
Can anybody tell me how... (sounds like a queen song)... to put a text on perspective... imagine that you create a box
and then a text
and you want this text to be in the same perspective the box is... how can i do that
