It is looking better now, as brynn said a helicopter would make more sense... But this is just a game.

Very good!

Re: When "inkscape.org" is online?

Moini wrote:Yes... It just worked for me, but it's changing. Do you need something specific from the website?

I was trying to download inkscape 64-bit for Windows... If you know of another mirror, that would be great.

And had a hard time posting a comment in the gallery.

Thank you!

Re: How to introduce tremor to fonts?

Hi everyone, I'm looking to add tremor or some variability to canned fonts. The idea is to make a signature line look like it was handwritten and not identical between prints. Is something like this possible? It is possible, but it depends on the level of realism you want. If you want 100% realisti...

When "inkscape.org" is online?

Seriously, that site has problems with response time, bad gateway all the time.

Rarely I can access it without problems. Is anyone else experiencing that?

Thank you!

Re: Game scene wip

Very, very cool! It is looking good, my friend! Keep it up! Just one little comment: I think the style of some objects (e.g. the "pipes", and little missiles) are not "talking" perfectly with the scenario, maybe you could think about it. But I am newbie at this, and I am not as p...

As InkScape is opensource, then the answer is probably "yes".

Not sure if there is an easier alternative.

Re: Inkscape crashing while ungrouping

Thanks @BlueKnight for the feedback. However, that's exactly my problem: How should I select & delete the large object if all is one group? How did you do it? Use the node tool for selecting one path, then go back to object select mode. Yea, that is how I did: Select with :tool_node: , then cha...

Re: Inkscape crashing while ungrouping

I tried opening it here, and the map is insanely big, about 1000000x702356 pixels object. The area which actually contains meaningful objects is just a very small portion of that. There are other objects that are insanely large as well and they serve as street markers of some kind. That huge object ...

Or the JPEG is invalid, or it is of a format InkScape is unable to process. Or it can be a bug. If you could provide a sample of the JPEG, or at least some information from " mediainfo " that would help to know what is going wrong. Additionally, you could try to download the latest "I...

Layer state

This seems to be just a lack of update of the locked image in "Layers" dialog. 1.Open Inkscape. 2.Draw an object (e.g. a circle). 3.Show layers, SHIFT+CTRL+L; Click on Layer 1 > Duplicate. 4.Now lock the duplicated layer. 5.Unlock it. It is now unlocked, but the image in Layers shows it as...

Off Topic! I've noticed lately when people are addressing another member, they put @ in front of their name. (Like Moini did above.) I'm curious why the @ ("at" sign) is needed. Why isn't someone's username, by itself, enough? I did a little searching on the internet, but must not have fo...
