I figured it out...for some reason that rectangle was not into the idea of changing into a path, so I created a new one, which was far more accommodating to my demands.
Thanks for the assist.

Correct format for url bar icons?
Hi.
I am developing a website and I would like to add a custom graphic for the url bar (such as the 'Y!' on yahoo.com, or the black/white/orange melting mountain that appears in the left side of your URL bar right now.)
Any idea what the proper size/format for that is?

[solved] Website design help.
Hi.
I am trying to design a website using inkscape for the art and layout.
Ultimately, I am looking for a large scrollable frame in the center of the screen, links across the top of said frame, and a slogan at the bottom of the screen which changes when clicked upon.
Any suggestions?

How to add fonts?
Hi.
I am trying to add to my font library and don't know how to do this.
Specifically, I am looking for elegant script fonts for business cards.
Any ideas?
