It looks like this issue is only visible on virtual machines.

I borrowed a friends laptop running XP today and inkscape has been running fine all morning.

Does anyone know why it would not run in a Virtual environment????

Hi, it's not the image as I have installed it on a PC at home today and all was fine for 5 minutes then I get the message "Inkscape has encountered an internal error and needs to close" then it does what it says and closes. I was just scaling an image for tracing, it just seems very unstab...

My work needs very smooth curves and the jobs are pretty complicated mostly.
