Re: Text top layer not showing

See https://inkscape.org/en/learn/faq/#flowed-text-doesnt-show-exported-file That didn't function; the converted version had some similar lines but others looked pretty different. I ended up recreating the text section; as the project didn't need to be precise, I committed to memory, which isn't th...

Re: Text top layer not showing

I was using Inkscape 0.48.4 r9939, I installed Inkscape 0.92.3 (2405546, 2018-03-11). I opened the file, it asked me how to convert to 96 DPI, I chose the default option for digital media, there was an asterisk so I saved it and it still won't show the text from the top layer in the SVG viewers, bot...

Text top layer not showing

I made a SVG taking a raster image, putting it in the bottom-most later, making a layer on top with text with a bit of formatting in it. Re: shrinking path or average between 2 paths

Oh! I didn't think about the 1st node. It was indeed mentioned in Inkscape tutorial: Interpolate , identified with a green dot. I noticed its importance with rotations. I was going to ask you a question but I found the answer on that page: To find the starting node of a path, select the path, then c...

Re: shrinking path or average between 2 paths

Awesome! :D That was sure better than doing something alike a node at a time. That was exactly what I was looking for. I made path-117-interpolated.svg with your instruction. There might be a better solution but it was as I was expecting it to be. I have a question and a correction. What does Path m...

shrinking path or average between 2 paths

Straight off, I was going to ask how to get an effect like Gimp selection Shrink effect but actually the path I'm working on come from Gimp ; I'll get back to that at the end. I used a popular map site to make a route, getting the direction between 2 locations then took a screenshot and made a path ...
