Error - ExportPDFCMYK Extension on Ubuntu
Hello all, I'm using Inkscape on Win 8. I did some large black and white standee images, around 60cm by 20cm last year for a local charity to use at their 'Black & White' charity ball. I used Inkscape and they came out really well, so I followed the same work flow this year for some colour stand...

Re: My proffesional logo
I like it, but I also agree with everything that brynn says, especially the K being a mitrror image. Tha would look better! But, yes, generally I like it very much, so well done you

Re: Polka Dots!
Hi. Simplest way to create a grid is to use P1, Simple translation. Tick off the "Use saved size and position of the tile" checkbox. Specify the size in rows and columns and click "Create". The object will then "touch" each other, to create "space" between th...

Ah! That's it
Thank you, Espermaschine, my friend and for everyone else (and my own reference, in case I forget), here are the settings I used in the second tiling!
Thank you and have a great day.
Nick.

Polka Dots!
Hello all, I am trying to use tiled clones to make a polka dot pattern. I've had some success, but the dots are arranged in a kind of parallelogram and I am looking for a rectangular arrangement. I have attached a couple of images, one of my settings (all I have changed is the stuff under the Shift ...

Hi there, I abandoned this in the end as the client changed their mind. Sorry for not updating you and thank you for taking the time to help. I'm sure I'll use this effect in the future.
Nick.

Re: Eroded / rubbed off paint effect.
Ah, apologies - life got in the way. As it turned out, the tattooist can replicate the effect anyway! Sorry, I wasn't ignoring you or meaning to be rude!

Duplicating a cog.
Hello all, I am trying to copy a logo as I would like it in .svg format. I have asked the people that own the logo but they haven't got back to me and I don't want to hassle them. Also, it's all good practice for me in Inkscape! The people that own the logo know that I want to use it, and they have ...

Eroded / rubbed off paint effect.
Hello all, I'm still pretty inexperienced with inkscape but I am enjoying it so far. With GIMP, I am pretty good, but for this project (and to generally improve), Inkscape is my weapon of choice. I am getting a tattoo - the last one I got was when I was 15, that was 30 years ago and now I am getting...

OK, so already I am stuck.
Can you explain what you mean by 'spray tool use over a small dot on the path'?
Thanks,
Nick.

Re: Crayon texture for path needed.
Lazur URH, It never ceases to surprise me just how helpful people on forums can be, and how much time and work they'll invest in helping a complete stranger learn something new - and all for free. I have some reading to do now, and lots of trying out in inkscape. I'm pretty busy all weekend which is...

Crayon texture for path needed.
Hello all, I'm attempting a logo using Inkscape. usually I use Gimp for all my graphics related stuff and I love it. Inkscape is a totally new thing for me and I am really getting to enjoy it but there's so much to learn, it's just like when I started out with Gimp. What I'd like to do is to create ...
