If I open up blank inkscape document and then make a 200 x 100 px rectangle, save it, then insert it as an <img> in an html page, it creates about 1000 px blank space underneath the rectangle img until my next html element is picked up, as if there is a 1000px margin. How do I make only the 200 x 10...

Hi all, first post.

I have a 954px x 80px rectangle that I applied a drop shadow with a small offset to, but when applied the rectangle increased in width about 50 px on either side. Any suggestions?
