I couldn't figure out why I don't see the option to start a "Seamless Pattern..."

Re: Working with glyphs on Inkscape
Hello Moini. It sends me to the text dialogue box. No special glyphs there. Maybe I don't have a font that has those special glyphs. This thread is more about finding alternative fonts to Samantha and Lovely Melissa fonts. Fonts that are Open Source. I can access the the boxes that have the other gl...

Working with glyphs on Inkscape
I've been trying to create some text that use glyphs with open source and free software. I'm trying to reproduce the results seen in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UzLhG3qwZ0A I've use a free font called Olivia, but I couldn't figure out how to add glyphs to look like those in video. Lo...

Re: How to create a PNG file (5000 x 5000 at 300 DPI)?
The problem is simple: I just wanted a 5000 x 5000 at 300 dpi PNG.
I can do that same thing on Gimp. I just don't understand why I can't export a svg file as a 300 dpi PNG.
Why a vector image that is made of equations instead of pixels needs to have a resolution of 90 dpi btw?

Thanks.
Is there another vector program that can import the svg file (90dpi) created in Inkscape and save it as a 300 dpi png?

Re: Width and Height vs DPI (Or PPI)
Maybe it is something technical about vectors that don't allow us to change the dpi without changing the size of the image.
How does it work on Adobe Illustrator?

Re: Width and Height vs DPI (Or PPI)
I didn't do it yet, because I need a faster computer to try it.
But in that case I'm going to "shrink" the image instead of expanding it. So I think it wouldn't create a lot of distortion on the image.

Re: Width and Height vs DPI (Or PPI)
Thanks for the answer! As an example If I need a 4500 x 5400 with 300 dpi can I do the following: Multiply the dpi for 3.125 that will create a 14062.5 x 16875 at 300 dpi. I save it as a png, then I open it in Gimp and change the size to 4500 x 5400 keeping the dpi (ppi in Gimp) as 300? The final nu...

Width and Height vs DPI (Or PPI)
It's a little confusing. In Gimp you change those numbers without changing the other. Gimp Example: 4500 x 5400 at 72 PPI, 96 PPI, 100 PPI etc. On Inkscape if your image is the same 4500 x 5400 you cannot change the DPI that the size of the image will be changed too. Is there any workaround that mak...

Density of Tiled Clones
Hello!
My first post here!
I'd like to change the density of the clones in the "Tiled Clones" settings.
Here's an example:

I want to have the stars closer to each other.
Any help is welcome!
