Got it! I guess I had to reselect the letter or something - anyhow, I don't know what I did differently than my first several tries, but this time I got handles on the letter. Yipee!!

I tried exactly that - but when I switched to node, there was still nothing on the letter, no handles or anything...

How can I edit a text letter?
Hi folks, I'm new to inkscape. I want to type in a letter in a particular font (that part I can do), and then be able to modify/edit/tweak that letter to change the shape a little so I can use it as a logo. I'm sure there must be a relatively easy way to have inkscape put handles (nodes?) on the tex...
