Ahh thanks brynn, the tab key I did not know about so i'll surely be trying that, and i'm finding changing the view to 'outline' for a moment is really helpful in finding an object.

I'm picking up lots of tips from browsing the forum :D

Thanks for the comment flamingolady :) I'm not quite down with the terminology yet but I think stock and microstock are the same thing. Its great to hear positive comments about my image so thanks...i'm still learning so it takes me a long time to do the simplest task at the moment and after a week ...

Thanks for the welcome brynn. I'm managing to fumble my way to selecting the correct object but i'm sure there are easier ways lol. Hi brynn thanks for the comment :) yes it was supposed to be a real boat...well a silouette of a boat, i'll make it smaller and see if I get away with it! Ideally I wanted the boat to be travelling toward the sun/away from us but I couldn't make it look right so I opted for a simpler approach......I...
