Lost window

Postby Robert H. Bigart » Sun Mar 31, 2013 12:44 am

I have been using Inkscape for over 3 years and just recently I lost my properties window.

When I press Shift+Ctrl+D nothing happens or hitting the properties icon nothing happens.

I reloaded the program and and nothing .

Is this a bug?

Welcome to InkscapeForum!

Hhmm....well, I haven't heard of anything like that. I guess you've checked to make sure it's not hiding behind the main window/canvas, or that it's not docked? I guess you could try reinstalling. What is your operating system and the Inkscape version?

Hi.

Sorry if I state the obvious here.
Could it be a case of "docked" window?
I had one of my windows "disappear" and "found" it in the upper right corner of the inkscape window - like this;
(Have a look at the right side of the layers window.)

If this is not the case then try delete or rename the default.svg file.
(This file "survives" a re-install.)

I found it on my second screen which I don't use to often.

Thank you very much Ragnar
