sculpt node handles?

Postby brynn » Sun Oct 25, 2009 2:55 am

Hi Friends,
This is the 2nd time I've wished it were possible to sculpt node handles, in the same way the it's possible to sculpt nodes (Alt + drag). I'm playing around with this spirogram made with Inkscape's Spirograph Effect (Effect menu > Raster > Spirograph).

I'd like to choose certain node handles, and move them all together, or scuplt them like nodes can be sculpted.

A while ago, I was playing with a Spiral, here's a simple sample:

Again, I want to choose certain nodes, and move them all together, or scuplt them like nodes can be sculpted.

Does anyone else think this could be a useful feature? I'm not sure yet if I want to put it on the Launchpad wish list, but I might.

Thanks for any comments :D

I don't think it's a bad idea. I would picture it working like node sculpting, but you would move the path segment--as opposed to your idea of moving the handles. Although it's probably much of a muchness.
