Trobule with opening Inkscape images in Corel Draw

Postby cas123 » Tue May 26, 2009 4:58 am

Hello,

I've got some trouble trying to open vector graphics created in Inkscape with CorelDraw. I've already tried different filetypes, such as EPS, SVG, CDR and PS with this last one resulting the most correct of all. However, the colors are displayed in other tonalities and the clipped vectors aren't clipped anymore in CorelDraw. Does someone know how to export Inkscape files correctly so that one is able to open the SAME file in CorelDraw????

Thank You very much!!!!

Inkscape cannot convert all features of SVG into other formats. If you 'have' to get a drawing created in Inkscape across to another application then you have to avoid using some features when creating the drawing. Clips is one such feature.

Keep in mind that SVG is an open standard -- Corel is in a far better position to support SVG than Inkscape is to support Corel formats.
