Because an increased number of people have been posting software issues on this site, I've decided to create a new forum, Discuss Software Issues, to keep such topics separate from the rest of the Inkscape topics.

I've been hesitant to do this because InkscapeForum.com IS NOT an official Inkscape resource (I pay for, moderate and control this site independently of Inkscape.org) and therefore it IS NOT a support forum. You are welcome to discuss software issues here, but do not expect to get a response, nor the issue fixed as a result of posting here.

If you experience what is potentially a software bug, report it on the Inkscape Launchpad site. If you want a response from the developers (i.e. people who know) then discuss it on the developers mailing list.
