Hi,
I get this error when using inkscape on my macbook air:

I've tried reinstalling both inkscape and xquartz a bunch of times (because it used to work fine) but now I just get this when ever I open up the application.

If anyone has any idea why this is happening/can help me fix it I would greatly appreciate it.

I also don't use a Mac, and can't help much. But if the info hulf2012 provided didn't solve the problem, it might help those who can, to know which version of Inkscape you've installed. I'm not sure if there's more info about your os, besides Mac and Quartz, but if there is, it would be helpful as well. Also, where did you download from? Occasionally we hear about a "rogue" copy of Inkscape, so it's usually better to download from sourceforge (via inkscape.org), or some official Mac source.

You could try to install a different version than this malfunctioning one, just to find out if the problem is with one version, or any version.
