Hi Guys,
I've been trying various methods of achieving this and have been searching the forums but I can't seem to solve it. Essentially I have a long and thin image that I have created in inkscape (It's a sequence of non-text characters) and I would like to wrap this image around a circle or spiral.
I can completely understand how to achieve this with text (via Text -> Put on path) but can't seem to find an equivilant for anything other than text. I thought I might have to convert the image to bitmap, but this doesn't seem to open up any more options. I've even considered creating a font out of my non-text characters but as I've never done this before I wanted to check on the forum first that there wasn't a simpler way.
Thanks for your help. Let me know if you need any more information about my problem.

Re: Wrap an image around a circle
Have you tried the 'pattern along path' extension or path effect?
Your mind is what you think it is.

Hey, Sorry for the slow reply. Suddenly got very busy after posting so haven't had time to fully try out your selection. However, I did look into it and it looks like just the thing I'm after. Thanks a lot
